Holistic Healing Therapies - Massage Reiki Qigong & Shamanic Healing
About

I received my certification from the Massachusetts Board of Massage Therapy after graduating from The Massage School of Easthampton, MA, in November of 2011, where I completed a 800 hrs program.

Training - Continuing education

Certified in Swedish and Deep tissue, I have also been trained in Shiatsu, Thai Yoga and Reflexology. I apply a combination of these techniques in my massage. I use Deep Tissue to relieve pain, accumulated stress and induce deep relaxation. I can work with athletes to recover from and/or prepare for strenuous exercise or competition. I am also skilled in light touch massage to re-balance energy levels, reinforce metabolism, circulatory/lymphatic systems, and boost the immune system.

Over the summer of 2012, I obtained the Comprehensive Pediatric Massage Certification, (CPMT) to provide massage therapy for children with special health care needs, who are hospitalized or have been diagnosed with a terminal illness in hospice care, a tribute to my niece Camille who died of Leukemia at the age of 10. This, combined with another training on Comprehensive Touch Therapy for children with Autism (CPMTA), both trainings were completed with Master teacher Tina Allen.

In April 2017, I completed an advanced training in Oncology Massage Therapy with Tracy Walton & Associates, LLC in order to provide a light touch treatment to help some of my clients fight cancer.

In November of 2019, I completed with Lisa Powers Level 1 and Level 2, Traditional Usui Reiki Ryoho to focus on energy healing and balancing. I am currently studying for the Master level. I then naturally oriented my healing towards Shamanic Reiki. I am also studying QIGong and will be offering this modality soon.

All of my trainings are approved by The National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, (NCBTMB)

A little history

After graduating, I worked for one year in Northampton, MA (at Clinic Alternative Medicines). Quickly, I learned how much I valued working with clients suffering from acute and chronic medical conditions.

Since the fall of 2012 I have been working in my private massage practice at Wellness Within Chiropractic in Easthampton, MA with Shelley Wilton, DC. Over those years, she has referred many of her clients to me. We often work together to establish complementary goals and treatment plans for rehabilitation of clients’ physical functioning and to alleviate their chronic or acute pain. I am accustomed to performing assessment that includes health history, sport practice/activity and energy evaluation, medication intake, evaluation of pain and movement, as well as other measurements of health such as stress, anxiety, sleep and diet. At times I refer to x-rays, lab tests and medical reports. I handle confidential records, track progress and report outcomes.

I have worked with clients suffering from a variety of medical conditions such as: hip dysplasia, adhesive capsulitis, tetra/paraplegia, lung and breast cancer, MS, leukemia, lymphedema, diabetes, obesity, trauma and cancer survivors, autistic disorders, peripheral neuropathy, seizures and others. I have also treated clients affected with disorders or syndromes related to fatigue, anxiety, stress, depression and other physical/emotional trauma.

Trust, Serenity, Compassion

I have practiced with the trust, serenity and compassion so essential to my clients’ well-being. I adhere to the strictest ethical and confidentiality codes at all times. I have provided home-based massage therapy to several pediatric and geriatric clients with varying degrees of illness, including end of life. I possess both the practical and emotional qualities needed to support clients and families throughout their difficult journeys. I have navigated around medical devices like IV catheter, insulin pocket, GI-tube or port. I have consulted with clients, family members, nurses and/or physician to ensure that massage was beneficial and respected potential contraindications or restrictions.

I have provided companionship, compassion, comfort and calm to ease fear, anxiety and pain and to help them face their illness, and sometimes death, with dignity and peace. While providing this type of care is at times difficult and stressful, the rewards far outweigh the challenges. Now I am broadening the scope of my passion and skills to work at an other level of healing: with Reiki energy.

Before

My previous experience is in the creative arts and organic farming. I moved from France with my family to Western Massachusetts to pursue my career in the Healing Arts as a massage therapist and energy healer. (Art is capital).

After

Due to the selling of the building I worked in Easthampton for almost 10 years, in August of 2021 I had to relocate my private practice and found a beautiful 2 room space in Northampton, MA Located at 39 Main St. third floor, Suite 34 b.
